02 — My story
A path interrupted.
A practice continued.
Between September 2017 and August 2021, I worked at Afghanistan High Security Printing (AHSP), designing security documents and developing my practice through training by Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions experts. My work included visas, educational credentials, and civil documents.
Designing a banknote was a professional ambition. Leaving Afghanistan in 2021 interrupted that path, but the ambition stayed with me.
Now based in Vancouver, I am returning my attention to this field: developing banknote concepts, exploring security graphics, and reconnecting with the people who give this work its purpose.
